Conscious Culture Wellness Program
The Conscious Culture Wellness Program (CCWP) is a weekly wellness series at Dream House Lounge that explores the intersection of Mental Health and Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). Mental Health challenges continue to grow, and negatively impact our community. However, there’s so much beauty, power, and unexplored potential within the culture that’s masked and plagued by violence.
The solution- Liberation. We bridge the power of expertise and experience to cultivate understanding about issues that are impacting our collective community, and provide tools and resources for participants to take back to their individual communities. We elevate challenges surrounding mental health, spiritual wellness, and economic and social mobility- while facilitating healing. We promote cultural sustainability and evolution by holding on to the cultural wealth of our ancestors, releasing the mindsets that limited their and our potential, and look to the promise and possibilities of a liberated future.
For us, it’s not enough to survive, we practice soul-care (e.g. meditation, yoga, mindfulness, alternative healing, community healing conversations) so that our future generations can thrive. We dream big and exercise imagination, in pursuit of peace, love, and liberation.

Description Wellness Wednesday is a sacred space for community healing through culture conversations. This is not your traditional panel discussion, where panelists are separated from the participants. Instead, panelists sit amongst the participants, and serve both as “experts” and participants. This reduces barriers of engagement, hierarchy, and promotes genuine connections- regardless of role. Participants are guided through mindfulness activities (e.g. deep breathing), topic discussions using liberatory structures, and provided with note taking tools and resources. goes here

Community Connections is a program designed to bring individuals together who share a common interest or passion. Through engaging and interactive events, such as plant meet-ups or adult coloring sessions, we provide a platform for people to connect, learn, and create meaningful connections within their community.
The program offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants can explore their shared interest, exchange knowledge and experiences, and build relationships with like-minded individuals. Whether it's a plant enthusiast seeking to expand their collection and exchange tips, or individuals looking to unwind and express their creativity through coloring, Community Connections provides a space for individuals to come together, foster connections, and build a sense of belonging.
These events offer opportunities for socializing, networking, and learning from one another. Participants can engage in discussions, share insights, and discover new perspectives, deepening their understanding of the chosen topic and expanding their social circles.
Community Connections aims to not only create an enjoyable and engaging experience but also foster a sense of community and promote overall well-being. By bringing people together over shared interests, we strive to strengthen community bonds, promote positive interactions, and enhance individuals' sense of connectedness in their local community.
